The near future holds incredible surprises; Saudi Arabia is set to unveil The Mirror Line, the world's longest skyscraper. This one-of-a-kind project that Crown prince Mohammed bin Salman has unveiled plans to create the cornerstone of the country's new 'zero-carbon-city,' NEOM. The Mirror Line comprises two massive buildings, each 16,000 feet high, that run parallel to one in front of another for a total of 170 miles. The buildings will be layered with public parks and pedestrian areas, schools, homes, and places of work, with the purpose that residents will have access to all facilities within a five-minute walk. By 2050, it is estimated that one billion people will have to relocate due to increasing CO2 emissions and sea levels. The Mirror Line is created as an endurable solution to this issue, delivering a secure and livable atmosphere for those who need it most.
